Sona Public School is situated at Street No.9, Samaipur, Delhi-110042. The school is a co- educational institution since 1/4/1993 although the foundation of the school was laid down on 23/3/1993 by Dr. B.S. Yadav, then Principal, Rajdhani College, Delhi University. Initially Sona Public School was a Primary School recognised by M.C.D. Education Department, Kashmere Gate, Delhi in 1995 with the blessings of Sh. V.P. Rao, IAS, then Director of Primary Education in MCD Education Department. After a span of one year it was recognised up to Middle Level by Directorate of Education, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi on 3/10/1996 but later on it was upgraded to Secondary Level on 7/4/1998 under NCT of Delhi with recognition No. 1616 and affiliation no. – UCU0417, under the sincere efforts of Sh. N.D. Yadav, Hon. Manager of the school. Presently, the School is recognised by the Directorate of Education, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi under Zone X, District – North-West ’A’ and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), New Delhi for the All India Secondary School Examination(ClassX).
