District Mandla is fully covered by green forest and is famous for fossils ( Ghughwa Park), Kanha National Park, Ramnagar fort of Rani Durgawati etc. Majority of the population of this district are tribals.In the beginning the Vidyalaya was runs in the temporary site in the Padmi Panchayat Bhavan.
