Christian workers working in remote regions of India for the Gospel of Christ have challenges in providing good education for their children. This being so far years, God the Almighty gave burden to Mr. D. King Solomon and Mrs. Mercy King in their hearts to start a residential school for taking care of the needs and providing education for the children of Christian workers . on the 9th June 1997, as a result of this, by the grace of our Lord Almighty the Kings and Queens Residential school was born in a rented building in Arakkonam town with 3 kids who were all in II Std. With just 3 staff – Mr. D. King Solomon, M.A., M.Ed., Mrs. Mercy King, M.A., M.Ed., and Miss. Emy , the school started its journey.In 2002, God provided a land for the Kings and Queens Residential School in a village called Thandalam which is 7 Kms from Arakkonam. A new school building was constructed & the school was moved from Arakkonam to the new school in Thandalam during 2003. In the year 2006, the school got affiliation to C.B.S.E, New Delhi (Affiliated to C.B.S.E, New Delhi, Code No. 1930197) The institution had grown and now have classes from I Std to X Std with a total of 314 students and 30 staff. And the number of sponsors have grown to 112. Teachers are very nice and here they put in a lot of effort to get children to start being independent. I am very happy with my call to opt for this school.
