It was established in July 1961 by then the Honorable minister of home affairs Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Outdoor games include football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, cricket, badminton, tennis, and squash. Inter house competitions in all these events are organized, and athletic competitions (track and field) are held.

I am student of this prestigious institution I am proud of it, I spent 7 yrs of my life their and it is totally worth it ,I learned lot over their, the location of the school is also fabulous the curriculum also makes u fit physically and mentally to be a leader
