Nirvana Agrawal achieved the exemplary feat of scoring 97% with the perfect score of 50 out of 50 in English and Maths and 45 marks in Science. Cambridge Checkpoint tests are designed to assess learners at the end of the lower secondary programme. The tests are marked by Cambridge International for English as a first or second language, Mathematics and Science. Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Global Perspectives learners produce a research report that is assessed by teachers and externally moderated by Cambridge International. Sanskar Jaiswal of Class VIII has secured International Rank 1 in National Cyber Olympiad and received cash prize of Rs.50,000 from Science Olympiad Foundation. He secured Rank 1 in International Mathematics Olympiad, organized by Science Olympiad Foundation. Co-curricular On the 9th International Yoga Day, on 21st June 2023, a wonderful online Yoga session was held in Rungta Public School, creating awareness about the numerous benefits of Yoga among the students. Since the date for reopening of schools in the region has been extended due to excessive heat, the online medium was selected to celebrate and observe this significant day. To make this day a splendid success and inculcate the practice of Yoga at the grassroots level, a celebration took place in the form of special assemblies conducted online through Zoom app in three different segments, separately for the students of Pre-Primary, Primary and Senior school. After the screening of an informative and encouraging video about the importance of Yoga and the necessity to adopt it as a way towards healthy living, a session on certain easy and popular asanas were conducted online. The celebration of Van Mahotsav in Rungta Public School, was an ideal opportunity to instil personal and social responsibility in our students towards safeguarding trees and forests. Sports The State level Championship of the indigenous Martial Art, Kurash was organized in Rungta Public School, in collaboration with the State Education Board on the 29th and 30th of September. two students of RPS, Kashvi Juneja of XII Commerce and Gunwant Ratnakar of XII Science bagged the Gold medals in their individual categories and have qualified for the Nationals. About 300 participants from different regions had participated in the tournament. student of class VI of Rungta Public School, Kashvi Jain made it to the State level championship in Table Tennis, playing in the under 19 category. Mr Sanjay Rungta is an Education Entrepreneur of Chhattisgarh who obtained B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University in the year 1983. After completing his studies he had started various start-up of Entrepreneurship like Rubber plant, Flour mill, Rice Mill and founded the first Rungta College of Engineering and Technology in Bhilai in the year 1985 on a sprawling 45 acres campus. The venture grew in leaps and bounds in the succeeding years as a college of Architecture, Science, Education, Computer Science, Pharmacy and Rungta College of Dental Science and Technology. Keeping in mind to provide quality education at an early age Mr Rungta founded Rungta Public School in 2014 with 114 students.
