The Carmel Public School is run by the C.M.C sisters under a Registered Charitable Society, the President of the society being the manager of the school. The medium of instruction is English. This is a co-educational school. Although opened to boys and girls of all communities, it is a minority community school run by Christians enjoying all the rights and privileges enshrined in Articles 29 and 30 of the Indian Constitution.
