Hebron School was founded in 1899 to serve the Christian worker community of India and South-East Asia. More than a century has passed and the School continues to fulfill its original purpose although it has grown in size and is styled an International School recognised as such by the Government of India and the State of Tamil Nadu. The prestigious international boarding school is designed skill-fully in 20 acres of land around the former stately home of Lushington Hall. The Ooty Government Botanical Gardens and the school share a common entry.There are 15 dorms bifurcated and allocated according to age and gender. All dorms are single-gender and all boys&rsquo: dorms are on the Lushington campus along with the youngest girls&rsquo: dorms (Stds. 5/6, around 9/10 years of age).
