St. Mary's Convent High School was founded in 1973, at the request of Rev. Fr. V. Godinho, to meet the educational needs of the people of Mulund, especially of Catholic students. It caters for girl students only. Standard I to IV were recognized by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation in the year 1974. In 1979, it was recognized as a High School.
