Led by the philosophy “Small is Beautiful” the school was started with a small building in the main premises of St. Stephens Church. Now it has expanded itself with two other huge buildings, the main building being at Jessore Road and the Wesley Church Department at Gorabazar, DumDum Cantt. At present the school has total roll strength of nearly 4000. Here staff members and students maintain a close and familiar relationship. In the School, we all know each other and from “St. Stephen’s family unit”. Our vision is to become a self satisfactory, proactive and leading institute offering quality capacity building services i.e. learning, teaching and counselling in the field of education to the students, teachers and other staff members of St. Stephen’s School in a challenging situation. Last year my kid came and home for holidays and had all vegetables. It is funny but I felt it was an achievement. Not only that but the regimented routine of waking up and sleeping on time was also a pleasant surprise.
Teachers are not of a very high standard.
The special classes helped my kid to perform better in Maths. Teachers put in a lot of effort must say.
Efficient staff, spacious and well equipped building, this school is all we had thought and much more. We are proud parents.
It is such a nice feeling to see your child blossom like the nature close to nature. Im lucky that I am capable of giving my child this kind of upbringing here. This school is my child?s second home.
