School is Inspired by the ideals and teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother a group of devotees of Salt Lake, Kolkata, started an Association named Sri Aurobindo Institute of Education with a view to spreading their message in all spheres of society. This Association was registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961. As part of their initiatives the Association established this school, bearing the same name, in 1983 at BK Block, Sector – II, Salt Lake. Subsequently the school was extended to CL Block on two bighas of land. At present classes I through Class XII are held in this new building, named Miranka, whereas the Nursery, Lower & Upper Kindergarten classes are held in the BK Block building. The medium of instruction is English. The School is managed by the Association through a Governing Body that functions as its executive wing. They charge a lot but education is not of that level.
A perfect balance of studies and sports.
I cant even ask my child who is more dear. The school or me. Because I know the answer might be school. Im delighted.
My kid loves the time at school and as a parent thats music to my ears.
Learning must never be forced or stressful. And seeing my child learn happily is so reassuring
