PYP The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) offers a curriculum framework that includes languages, social studies, mathematics, science and technology, arts, and personal, social, and physical education. This framework provides students with a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate academic experience emphasizing various subjects' interconnectedness. It also fosters an international perspective that acknowledges and celebrates the diversity of student experiences and backgrounds. Students are equipped with the skills necessary to learn independently or collaboratively and to apply their knowledge across a wide range of areas. The curriculum builds upon skills and the learning developed in the primary school. Ms. Rima Singh is a distinguished educator with 23+ years of experience in teaching and school administration in the UAE and India. A gold medallist with a Master's in Science (Nutrition) from Delhi University, Rima began her career as a Nutritionist and Counsellor in the health sector. She co-authored a book on nutrition and was awarded the prestigious Golden Leaf Award for her Diploma in Environmental Education. A lifelong learner, Rima has received extensive training from the International Baccalaureate (IB) and is a certified IB Workshop Leader, School Consultant, and Chair for school accreditations. She also holds certifications from CIS, NEASC, and ISO 21001:2018. As the founder head of DPS International School, Rima pioneered the introduction of IB programmes in the DPS network. Her prior experience includes leadership roles at the Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad, Pathways World School, and DPS Sharjah, UAE.
