Founded in the year 2003, Sreenidhi International School is one of the leading private schools in Hyderabad today. The mission of Sreenidhi International School is to create an intellectually challenging environment for students. Through holistic and impactful learning, the school aims to foster innovation, choice and ownership of learning to create internationally-minded individuals.

History

After diligently assessing  the quality of students joining reputed professional educational institutions, Dr.K.T Mahhe realised the value of imparting quality education. He was determined make a difference in the lives of students at an early stage. He established the Sreenidhi International School Nursery to Grade 12th with state-of-the-art facilities. The main aim of creating internationally and socially responsible Global citizens was the motivation. He ventured around the globe, visiting the best educational institutions everywhere to observe their best practices which could be inculcated in this new institution. He adopted a rapidly growing international curriculum along with the other established curriculum to bring to the children the best.

Academics

Affiliated to the IB,  the curriculum is structured in a manner that the child is engaged with the ever-changing world trends. The curriculum is followed right from the early years to the senior level.

Infrastructure

The 60 acre vast campus area in the city provides a cosy environment for students to learn and indulge in activities.

The methodically designed layout  gives each child a sense of privacy which is beautifully woven into the spirit of community life. Each residential block contains rooms that are spacious, well lit and well ventilated. Open air sit-out, common rooms and study areas are provided with each block. The staff quarters are attached to the hostels in a way which encourages teacher – student interaction and supervision without encroaching upon anybody’s privacy.

Activities

Other than the different clubs the students at Sreenidhi International School enjoy activities in following domain:

• Career And Guidance- is aimed to provide students with the resources and opportunities they need to make informed choices about selecting a college according to their personal needs. In addition, the counselor organizes aptitude tests, helps students enroll for summer programs, and register for required college admission tests.
• Sports Programme- is carved out of the belief that a strong foundation built in early life continues to hold steady throughout the later years. This foundation is built by strengthening and encouraging growth and development in all areas of the self:- discipline, confidence, social, emotional, physical, communication, creativity and sportsmanship. The program caters to advance level athletes as well as to a beginner level.
• Student Council- is a student community that consists of the Head Boy and the Head Girl, Sports Captains, House Captains and Cultural Secretaries that work together and assist in the smooth functioning of the various co-curricular activities of the school.
• MUN– Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where students learn about diplomacy and international relations through public speaking and debate.
• The International Exchange- programme has been developed so that students understand how the world works, participate globally and locally and as responsible citizens are motivated to take action.
• Camps and Tours- and meaningful excursions organised by the school to give children a realistic experience along with the theoretical learning.
