Founded in the year 2014, Sanjay Ghodawat International School aims to provide an exciting all round education. The aim of the residential school is to create global citizens through traditional values of love, empathy, respect and discipline.

History

Sanjay Ghodawat Group is one of the most well reputed industrial empires in Western Maharashtra. The group has their business widely spread over non conventional energy resources, FMCG, realty and infra, heavy engineering, hi-tech agricultural, chemicals and textiles etc. Led by a dynamic entrepreneur Mr. Sanjay Ghodawat, the group is at the zenith of achievement in Industry.

The success and eminence of the group began with a visionary dream as a varied agglomeration of ideas and the strength of over 5000 people, the group is indeed a success today.

Academics

The residential school is delivering a dynamic ecosystem of learning through the following curriculums ;

Infrastructure

Located Off the Mumbai- Bangalore National Highway No. 4 & on State Highway No. 3 (Sangli – Kolhapur) the camus is at a distance of 21.5 kms Kolhapur Airport. The spacious well equipped campus has all advanced amenities that are required for the holistic development of the students.

Each child is under the structure guidance and care of the dorm parents and housemasters. The residential school provides attractive bedrooms accommodation, students’ bathing and shower facilities and a comfortable recreational room.

In the residential boarding the staff creates an environment whereby students can develop their own intellectual talents.

Activities

The residential school offers different kinds of clubs that have their own area of expertise that the students can benefit from ;

  • Home Science Club

Sanjay Ghodawat International School has introduced Home Science as a Hobby Club. Home Science education tries to train and educate one to make a perfect interface of different skills that come in handy during the various spheres of a human’s life. 

  • Drama Club

SGI always provides enormous opportunities to the students to explore their hidden talents in theatre.As a form of expression dramatics is a unique hobby that children can pursue here.

  • Book Club

The aim of convening this club is to have Children learn how to think critically about the action, place, time and the role of the character in the story. Thus, Book Review Club enjoys the different stories written by the different authors and has been successful in using correct usage of the language into the day to day life.

  • Eco Club

The purpose of this club is to have students learn how to prepare the land for growing plants. They also learn to identify the weeds and remove them as these weeds destroy the existing plants. 

  • Photography Club

Photography is a part of the lives of people around the globe and at SGI the need to capture moments is given importance. The widespread availability and ease of owning a camera is a product of the digital age and all the students here are trained on its usage.

  • Robotics Club

Teaching robotics to young learners is an interesting way to  introduce Science and Technology. Not only do they learn to design and construct a robot, but also they get a clear idea on what is required for a machine or tool to function.The residential school has a collaboration with ‘THINKLABS TECHNOSOLUTIONS PVT. LTD. ,MUMBAI’.

  • Dance Club

Not just a hobby but even as a form of physical activity, dance is a very important skill. At SGI students get several opportunities to display their talent in school functions, festivities and competitions.
