Leadership And Organizing Theories – Success Hence Proved!

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Today’s kids are tomorrow’s adults. In this present day where competitiveness and leadership is at its peak, with emerging great scholars at a very young age – standing out in a crowd is as important and as hard as it gets due to this increasing Gen X bunch of gifted kids. Be it academics, cultural activities or sports – we find kids who are not just restricted to one element but are multifaceted, exhibiting amazing talent in many fields. A child who is good at sports also recites numerous chapters of Bhagavadgita with utmost ease and finesse…or a girl, who is an ace Kathak performer, is rendering unmatched aptitude in the National Junior Science summit.

Being multi talented is not so uncommon anymore. Ever wondered how and where do they get so much time to master innumerable skills belonging to different genre? Squeezing in time to do something different from usual will definitely ask for lots of precision, concentration and organisational capabilities failing to which may result in stress and lack of performance in the existing setup at academics.

Leadership quality is not an acquired skill. It is a trait which is born with us. The effectiveness of which could be improved with a good assistance by any qualified adult supervision or a valuable parenting implementation. Getting organised being the first step of this, we need to understand the intricacies pertaining to this which could guarantee a successful outcome of our “Eager to rule the world” – new generation.

Promoting efficient organizational behaviour lies in the early stages of childhood. A child is administered by the parents to perform few simple disciplinary tasks like keeping the shoes back in the rack once back home, eating the food without spilling it or even something very small like arranging the pencils in the pencil-box. Being systematic is always a gain when one has to achieve preferred success in life.

Factors necessary for a strong leadership quality:

  • Confidence
  • Commitment
  • Communication
  • Innovation
  • Team spirit
  • Accountability
  • Determination

The dynamics which endorse effective organisational behaviour:

  • Responsibility
  • Attentiveness
  • Discipline
  • Healthy parenting
  • Reasonable attribute
  • Staunch recklessness
  • Minimum subtleness

Steps taken to encourage the above qualities include treating your kids important and encouraging them to take up some of the activities like:

  • Reading: Books about scholars, freedom fighters and successful entrepreneurs.

  • Storytelling: Stories which uphold the great values could be found in our ancient books like Panchatantra, Mahabharata, Bible etc which talks about great personalities and how they stood up against all odds to get distinguished as “legends”.

  • Activities: Team activities like football, cricket, Zumba classes, skill workshops etc can bring out the passionate, empathetic team player in them who builds a great trust in his/her peer group environment, coming out with an idea so ingenious that would put them in the limelight.

  • Adult behaviour: Do make sure that “YOU” are a hero for them. The toddler imitating you might intimidate you with something unexpected in the teenage and may blame you for his/her actions later. Watch yourself and always keep an eye on your growing kid.

  • Encouragement: Rewarding them with appreciation either by applauding or presenting them with some things which they like when they demonstrate a welcoming behaviour will pump them up and they repeatedly; though unconsciously perform few tasks which would get them your pleasing attention.

I addition to these above set of tasks, persuade them towards a dream and constant practical targets which can boost their interest to achieve something big and thus will infuse the urge to accomplish something more than ordinary.

‘Today’s dreamer can become tomorrow’s leader’.
