Established in 1982 the Delhi Public School, Noida, is a coeducational day-cum-residential school. The school is managed by the Delhi Public School Society and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school enrolls 4,500 students mentored by 230 teachers.
The DPS Noida management believes that “true education must be life sustaining and life empowering”. The mission of DPS Noida is to “have faith in a creative and competent actualization of a school culture that is broad in vision and embraces the multiplicity that characterizes its words”.
DPS Noida is affiliated with CBSE and offers its curriculum from nursery to class XII. In addition to English and Hindi, it also offers French, German and Sanskrit languages from class IV onwards.
In addition to the curriculum, compulsory subjects include general studies, work experience, physical and health education. Students are trained and mentored for prestigious competitive exams such as National Talent Search Test, National Math, Science and Cyber Olympiads and others. The academic curriculum is strongly supported by co-curricular activities. All students from class VI to X mandatorily need to opt for a performance-based work experience from a wide range of creative activities and achieve at least two credits to be promoted to the next class. All-Rounder Trophies are awarded to students excelling in both academic and co-curricular activities.
