Blue Bells Model School is a pioneer co–educational English medium school located in the heart of the city of Gurgaon (Haryana).

The progressive environment at Blue Bells Model School is an amalgamation of academics, Artificial Intelligence, theater, art, debating, discussions, seminars, MUN conference, Robotics, clubs and workshops, all being intelligently designed, promoted and woven well in the school calendar. Indoor athletics, yoga, aerobics, music, dancing, picnics and excursions have an important place in the term wise planned school calendar. 

Origin

Founded on Nov. 10, 1980, the school is a rare blend of tradition and modernity. The D.R. Memorial Bal Shiksha Vikas Society, comprising eminent personalities from all walks of life is the apex body of the school. Emanating from a humble beginning, today this versatile institution has grown into a full-fledged Model School.

The school began with a total strength of 9 students which increased to 80 by the end of the session in March 1981 and further rose to a figure of 250 within a span of one year and more than doubled to 570 by the year 1983. Forging ahead the school shifted to its own premises at 934, Sector-4 on November 10, 1982 which now houses the feeding branch, Blue Bells Preparatory School. The school was shifted to its present premises on July 29, 1985 and started its growth towards a Senior Secondary School with its present strength of approximately 2500 students.

Curriculum

To develop academic excellence the school offers a wide syllabus with careful planning and guidance to enable the students’ independent thinking and self-expression. This is reflected in class XII & X results that we manage every year in the CBSE Board Examinations year after year.

Our Commitment is to educate a pupil in mind, body and soul. Modern methodologies are employed to facilitate learning. Teachers follow a set curriculum, which shapes and integrates learning. Pupils are helped in developing linguistic intelligence through creative writing, public speaking etc.

Activities

Every child has inborn qualities which can be developed by giving them suitable opportunities. Students of the primary branch get ample chances to showcase their talents through various functions, competitions, morning assemblies etc. Students get a chance to participate in debates, recitation, speech, extempore etc. which help them to improve their speaking skills and give them a chance to become a winner. Apart from these co-curricular activities, various sports activities are also organized for the students. Students get training from coaches and get a chance to excel in the field of sports.
