Apeejay School, Noida promoted under the aegis of Apeejay Education Society was founded in the year 1981 by the great visionary Dr. Stya Paul.

Apeejay School, Sector- 16 A, Noida, is situated in a sprawling 15-acre campus, in a lush green environment, most conducive for learning.

The school, which started with just 186 students on its rolls, has celebrated 35 glorious years of its inception. Despite its extremely modest beginnings, the school has carved out a niche for itself on the educational scenario with high academic standards and excellence in various co-curricular activities. The school was affiliated to the C.B.S.E. in May 1983. The first batch of the All India Secondary Exam was sent in 1984 which brought first division to all 11 students who appeared in the Exam. In 1985, was sent the first batch of class XII. In the same year to meet the demand of outstation students clamouring for admission, the school hostel was started with 8 students.

The pre primary wing of Apeejay School, Noida includes nursery and kindergarten classes, and follows the curriculum prescribed by the Council for Educational and Professional Services (CEPS). The subjects taught in the pre-primary section are English, Hindi, number work, environmental studies, music, art and craft. The focus areas are physical, language, personal, emotional, social, intellectual/cognitive, aesthetic development etc.

The subjects taught in the primary classes are English, mathematics, Hindi, German, environmental studies, general science, social studies, general knowledge, computer science, art, yoga, aerobics, music, physical education and value education.

For classes VI – VIII, learning takes the course of interactive methodology whereby the students are encouraged to actively participate in classroom discussions and be a part of the learning process. The main subjects taught are English, mathematics, Hindi, German, Sanskrit, environmental studies, general science, social studies, general knowledge, computer science, art, yoga, music, dance, vocal and instrumental music and physical education.

In classes IX –X, the curriculum is designed to encourage higher order thinking, reasoning, analytical and logical applications. At this level, the students are prepared for the CBSE board examinations.

In class XI, students can opt for science or commerce stream, which enables them to appear for the All India Secondary School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) conducted by the CBSE at the end of class XII.

Inter House competitions form an integral part of the school curriculum so whether it is skill or elocution quiz or best out-of waste, games or yoga, all competitions are held with verve and gusto and are aimed at highlighting the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out, the best of compelling spirit of young players.
