The Indian subcontinent is divided into five regions concerning boarding schools, these are:

The boarding schools in India follow one of the following curriculums:

CBSE: Central Board of Secondary Education

CISCE: Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations

IB: International Baccalaureate

CIE: Cambridge International Examinations

State Board: The curriculum specified by respective states

When it comes to the selection of curriculum, it depends on one the present curriculum the child is studying. It is better to continue the same curriculum as it will be easier for the child to adjust academically.
