JSS High School (Primary and Higher Primary Schools are also run in the same premises), Konanakunte, was established in 1980-81. At the time of inception, the school was housed in a small building and had only 50 students. The school succeeded graudally in attracting people from far and wide. A spacious and well-equipped building was constructed in 1993.
