About School: In 1927 Sheth Anandilal Podar, an eminent Mumbai-based businessman, with interests in cotton mills, founded the Podar Group of Schools. Interestingly, Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation, was the first President of the Anandilal Podar Trust. Teachers are provided with plenty of tools and their utilization to make the learning attractive and interactive, keep the students attentive in the class. The textbooks are composed keeping in mind all sorts of learners. For each concept unique lesson plans are provided with different activities which would be suitable for that particular concept such as art integration, LSRW activities, vocabulary activities, asynchronous activities, flip rotation classroom, etc. As the classrooms are equipped, the teachers are also well equipped with the complete knowledge of upcoming technological inventions and implement them in their classes. To have an effective communication virtually with children and parents, specific WhatsApp groups are created for each section taking consent from the parents. The class wise time-table, general instructions, regular class schedules, home-works, etc, are being shared and conveyed through these groups. The leadership team observes classes on a regular basis and gives constructive feedback to the concerned teacher. Going a step ahead of all these, the nursery students are being taught through the 3D animated videos. Rhymes, stories, etc. are taught to the students very effectively through these videos. To be connected with our students keeping their interest in mind various co-curricular activities are also been conducted in a very creative manner. The life skill classes are part of our curriculum, to bring awareness in students about the present situation and get adjust themselves to the present scenario. Giving our students the opportunity to lead from the front, Council Election is also conducted every year.
