About School: The school strives to provide the best service to its stake holders within its philosophy, mission, vision and goals. Every student of the school emerges a winner in the bargain with the confidence and discipline to be a successful survivor in the dynamic world to which they are thrown once they leave the portals of the school. To achieve its goals the school expands and adds on to its infrastructure and it is in an ever growing mode. The school admits children from all walks of life irrespective of faith without any compulsion on them to attend Christian service in the Chapel. Tolerance and respect to all religious faith are imbibed in the children of the school along with the scripture lessons and examples set by the teachers and other staff. The students live in a secular atmosphere, where they are free to practice their own beliefs. There are a few students from Kerala and other parts of the country who follow Hindu faith. The School Management Board after long and anxious deliberations concluded to take a decision to run the school as an unaided school, i.e., without any financial grant-in-aid from the government, because of the difficulty it faced to run it on its ideologies and due to loss of independence owing to the cramping restrictions government has been imposing from time to time. There are at present 26 teachers and four non teaching staff in the school. The details are given under existing staff. Since most of the teachers live in the school they assist in the management and maintenance of discipline and order, cleanliness and hygiene of the boarding as well. The House keeping is in the charge of one of the old girls. There is a well qualified House keeper assisted by men and women helpers. There are 20 kitchen staff and a few auxiliary staff to take care of the work of the Boarding home, especially, that of the kitchen and its allied tasks.Besides this, there is an experienced nurse to look after the little children and the sick. Over and above regular trained and untrained teachers, there are language teachers, specialists for arts and crafts, physical training and music, and a librarian to look after the children’s need for a well-maintained library. The school always welcomes devoted and dedicated teachers and warden to serve as God’s servant in the Nicholson Family.
