About School: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Mandla situated in Village Padmi, Was Started in the Village Padmi Distt-Mandla in 1993. District Mandla is fully covered by green forest and is famous for fossils ( Ghughwa Park), Kanha National Park, Ramnagar fort of Rani Durgawati etc. Majority of the population of this district are tribals.In the beginning the Vidyalaya was runs in the temporary site in the Padmi Panchayat Bhavan. Later on the School building was inaugurated by the then Minister of HRD, Hon’ble Sh. Arjun Singh and the Vidyalaya was shifted to the permanent site in 1998.
