About School: "Long ago in the year 1955, Rev. Fr. Manuel D’souza, was appointed Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s church, Vikhroli. When he arrived here, Vikhroli was, to use a common expression, “a jungle”. Rev. Fr. Manuel started the school in 1956 with as many as seventeen students from the nearby village, and thereafter the number started growing each year. Rev. Fr. George Lobo was appointed the first qualified Principal of St. Joseph’s School in the year 1966. We had the first S.S.C batch in March 1971. Twenty three students appeared for S.S.C. Examination, out of which twenty-one passed with the percentage being 91.30. Since then our school has been showing a steady progress under the able guidance of the following Principals"
