About School: Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan, a modern multipurpose girls Higher Secondary School affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, is the brain child of SRI BASUDEO TIKMANY who conceived about the school far back in the year 1987 and encouraged like-minded members of Agrasain Seva Samity. The necessity for a good English Medium School for complete personality development of students as per International Standards was felt by many social workers, industrialists & members of Agarwal Community in and around Howrah & Kolkata. Generous contributions from the Agarwal Community gave enormous boost to the project & within two years of the foundation laying ceremony on 25th March 1994 by the then Governor of West Bengal, His Excellency Sri K. V. Raghunath Reddy, the school opened its door for students on 3rd June 1996, with 524 girls & 25 teachers under the able stewardship of Sri S. K. Srivastava, the Principal. The School is located Abhoy guha road, Kolkata.
