About School: MatriKiran is an ICSE affiliated, co-educational School from Pre-Nursery to Grade 12. The 8.25 acre campus is spread over two locations – the Junior School, Sohna Road, on 2 acres, and the Senior School, Sector 83, on 6.25 acres. The Junior School, (Pre-Nursery to Grade 5) on Sohna Road, commenced its first academic session on 4th April 2011, whereas the High School at Vatika India Next, commenced on 4th April 2016. At MatriKiran, the focus is on the five facets of development – Physical, Emotional, Mental, Psychic and Spiritual. The School follows the Integral & Experiential approach towards Education and has successfully completed 10 years of operations. MatriKiran follows integration of subjects through project based experiential learning. The integrated curriculum gradually advances in degrees of specialisation at each level. In Elementary years, students are encouraged to discover the unknown and express themselves. Along with understanding of the curriculum, the focus is also on appearance, behaviour, response to the surroundings, and interest in fine arts. In Junior School, qualities such as attention span, perseverance, concentration and problem solving are developed. Once engaged meaningfully, students are motivated to refine their work and increase the challenge for themselves. In the Middle School, MatriKiran promotes an investigation-based, application-oriented learning, wherein the students develop critical thinking and research skills.
