About School: The Poornaprajna Education Centre, Sadashivanagar was one of the first educational institutions started in the year 1969 by the Pontiff of Admar Mutt, Udupi His Holiness Sri VibhudeshaTheerthaSwamiji. Apart from being a great saint and a spiritual leader, the Swamiji had a passion for modern English education with special emphasis on science and scientific research. He firmly believed that it is only through education and modern science that Bharath can re-establish itself as the leader in the community of nations of the world. To achieve this goal, his vision was to start a chain of primary and secondary schools all over India to instill the spirit of rational scientific enquiry at a young age among the children.
