About School: In the heart of Bangalore in a place called Hampinagar, stands this school, ‘Camlin English School‘ governed by the “Camlin Education Society“This institution was established in 1982, by the founder-secretary, Sri. T.B.G Aradhya, B.Sc., M.A., M.Ed., (LLb) with a meagre strength of 26 students. His vision of making this institution one of the best in Hampinagar has now seen light. Being in the same field, i.e. the field of education, the secretary with his great foresight has enabled this institution to scale great heights. An English medium school, affiliated and registered to Karnataka Government, houses classes from Montessori to standard X and follows the state syllabus. It now has a strength of over 1200 students and to maintain quality limits each class to two sections only.The students and teachers are being kept in par with the ever changing technologies. We have obtained 100 percent results in the board examination for several consecutive years. In the year 2005, one of our students obtained 98.24%. She stood 3rd in the whole of Karnataka, unfortunately the government did not give ranks that year. In recognition of the results of the board examination we have been honoured with ‘ The Best school Award’ and a memento & certificate presented by the Karnataka State Head Masters Association and the Rotary Club of Vijaynagar, Bangalore. At the Prathibha Puraskara function of our school all these students who excel are awarded cash prizes, momentos & certificates. In commemoration of two decades of dedicated service we brought out a souvenir named 'Chigaru', and of course the Silver Jubilee issue was named ‘Sadana’. From growing buds to bloomed flowers and now to spread the light of knowledge to all the earth,our third souvenir is named 'Belaku'. These books are to bring out philosophical thoughts and the talents of our students. Our Silver Jubilee was graced by his holiness Sri Sri Sri Veerasomeshwara guru of Balehonnur. We released our souvenir ‘Sadhana’. Personalities from all walks of life were invited for our programme.The management holds a successful track record of all the classes, which helps for fruitful academic progress. Classes may be viewed from the headmistress and Secretary's chamber itself. We rise to the need of the hour, our school has generously contributed for the victims of Tsunami & Floods, old age homes, orphanages etc. A civic sense is imbibed in the minds of our students.The secret of success is commitment, self – confidence trust in fellow beings, faith in God and a sense of Office, Power and Purpose, which we have much adhered to.“True wisdom, is to know what is best worth knowing and to do what is best worth doing”.The school does not stop at this but promises to carry on unstinted services, sending our students to all corners of the earth spreading moral, traditional and beams of light.
